What is Mayo Singers?

Mayo Singers is an auditioned, after-school, chorus of 3rd-5th grade students. The students are invited to audition for our school’s chorus at the beginning of each school year. The audition process is fairly rigorous due to the amount of interested students; therefore, the students in this group have worked very hard to get here. We perform at a fall and spring concert, community events, and other occasions throughout the year. The purpose of Mayo Singers is to further develop students’ musical ability, foster team effort, and of course, be the singing voice of our school.

What will students do in Mayo Singers?

We will explore a variety of repertoire, vocal warm-ups, team building exercises, performance techniques, musical literacy, and much, much more!
