What is Gifted Art?
Gifted art is an after school program for students in fourth and fifth grade who excel in visual art. Students in third and fourth grade are tested each year for placement in the program the following year. District 2 works within state guidelines to ensure our students receive a wide variety of art experiences. The purpose of gifted art is to further develop artistic ability, enhance creativity and broaden critical thinking skills.
